Larry Hagman and Barbara Eden attended an I Dream of Jeannie DVD signing in Manhattan in March of 2006. The DVDs had to be bought at the Barnes & Noble hosting the event. There was a long line of very enthusiastic fans waiting for Larry and Barbara. Eventually, fans were let in the store in a snaking line. It still went outside and around the block.

A wave of excitement went through the crowd when Larry and Barbara arrived. Larry's wife Maj and his granddaughter Noel were with him. I Dream of Jeannie creator Sidney Sheldon's granddaughter was also at the event.

Then the frustration began. Larry and Barbara posed for photos, but not for fans. The press crowded in front of them, blocking the view! The crowd was treated like cattle, rushed along. Larry and Barbara hardly looked up from their signing duties. Despite the rush, some people did not get their DVDs signed.
